Kate Beckinsale

Kathrin Romany Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973)[1][2][3] is an English actress and model. After appearing in a few minor TV roles, her film debut was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) when she was studying at the University of Oxford. In addition to numerous radio and stage productions, she appeared in British costume dramas such as Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), and Shooting Fish (1997). Beckinsale began her film career in the United States in late 1990s. After appearing in small-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), Beckinsale was a part of Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). Following her roles in The Aviator (2004) & Click (2006) as well as Click (2006), she appeared as herself. She was a major star in Hollywood by playing roles in The Aviator (2004) and Click (2006). In addition, she has appeared in smaller dramatic projects such as Snow Angels (2007) and Nothing but the Truth (2008). She received positive reviews for her performances in the two previous films. In 2016, she won high praise for her performance in the period-themed comedy film Love & Friendship, for which she was awarded a nomination for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedic Film. In action films, she returned with Jolt (2021). She has also appeared in two TV series with Jolt (2021) and The Widow (202019).
