He changed his name in the year 2017 from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. The reason for this was in honor of Young Kingz music group of which he's a part. The initial i in their name has been replaced with a y. Myke Towers is a Puerto Rico-based rapper who has been on the scene since he was an teen, released his first freestyles and compositions via his SoundCloud page. The artist gained fame in 2014 through songs such as Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques. His freestyle La Nueva Droga, and the rendition of Drake's classic song "0 to 100" also attracted attention in the world of urban music.
